1. COMMITTMENT
EWT Truck & Trailer Handels GmbH (hereafter EWT) takes the protection of personal data very seriously. When using personal data, EWT therefore complies with all requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Amendment Act and endeavors to ensure the best possible transparency. EWT processes personal data in accordance with the principles of legality, good faith, transparency, correctness, appropriation, data minimization and the minimization of the storage period.

3. PURPOSE AND LEGALITY
EWT processes personal data exclusively to fulfill customer orders. The following legal bases come into consideration:
3.1. Fulfillment of contractual obligations in accordance with art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR
To fulfill customer orders, EWT needs to process personal data. In doing so, EWT requires the data, among other things, to identify the customers, to process them in the order fulfillment process, to order from the supplier and to communicate with the customer.
If business partners do not want to make the data available, the fulfillment of the contract, the order or the advice may be impossible. An existing contract can no longer be executed under these circumstances and may have to be terminated.
EWT informs its business partners as part of the information requirements when collecting the data.
3.2. Fulfillment of legal obligations under art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR

4. PERSONAL DATA
EWT processes personal data obtained from or provided by business partners, EWT coun-try organizations (EWT spol.sr.o., Hoffmann & zizak spol.sr.o., EWT Truck & Trailer Polska Sp.zo.o., Diesel Truck Sp.z o.o., TTS Truck & Trailer Store Polska) and Schmitz Cargo Bull.
Depending on the order, the following categories of personal data are subject of data processing:

Employees of EWT receive personal data to fulfil the contractual or legal obligations.
Depending on the order, it may be necessary to forward the data to Schmitz Cargobull GmbH.
If necessary to fulfill the task in question, personal data may be passed to data processing companies assigned by EWT.
